New Name – This is just to give you guys a heads up that our website has been CodingCertification.org for over three years, because we do a lot more than just coding, we took our CCOacronym and we switched it around and it’s CertificationCoaching.Org LLC and we’re going to be having a new domain coming out. We haven’t said what it is yet, and some people are guessing and they’re not right, so it’s going to be a nice, short one. Look for that in the next month. Don’t be surprised if you see a little bit of changes. We just want to give you a heads up.
Also, we have a new Helpdesk platform that is really helping us according to our efforts and handle our growth. If you go to http://helpdesk.codingcertification.org for right now, that is where you can search the knowledge base, you can review past Helpdesk tickets that you’ve put in. If you are a student of ours, you can see your exam results there. Bookmark that and save that. You can go there during our business hours which are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and you’ll probably find one of our helpful Helpdesk folks, Lori, Sylvia, or Lisa answering live chat questions; so take advantage of that. Of course, you can use good ol’ email, helpdesk@codingcertification.org it will get to the same platform. But we encourage you to use the website because it’s a little easier to use, you can get your answers sometimes, don’t even have to send an email and wait for a reply.

CPC Study Guide – This is just a heads up that we have a new CPC study guide coming out. We’ve been working for this a year and a half, actually. It’s very close to being released. Keep your eye out for that. This is something that’s going to be available in Amazon as a Kindle book.
The Future of Coding >> ICD-10 Prep – CCO Style
This is our slide to remind you of our several ICD-10 products. The Blitz name is near and dear to my heart. That is our flagship product, if you will, over three and a half, I think we’re going on four years ago now. I had a very similar online school to what we’re doing now but I sold it, and all I did was the CPC Review Blitz videos on the site. I met Boyd and he encouraged me to do more with the website, do these webinars; then he said, “Why don’t you have a class” and that’s when Alicia came on to help me with that.
We’ve really come this far very quick, but the Blitz was always reserved for my two-day review class for those preparing for the CPC Blitz. We’ve now decided to take that concept of taking a full 20-hour course, condensing it into a two-day Blitz and we did it with ICD. We took our basically 20-hour equivalent course, our full ICD-10 course and we condensed it down to two days. This was recorded with Alicia and Boyd this past February and had a great turnout and did that as a live broadcast, live attendees, so it was really exciting. Now, you have that option, a really condensed version or you can do the full course.
We’ve got ICD-10-CM Practice Exams. We got a free one and we’ve got a paid one. We got to update that, the free one is actually 25 questions, not 50.
Webinar for Modifiers – We are going to go back to doing more live webinars. This is like our Q&A webinars. It’s kind of like a variety show, if you will, you’ll never know what you’re going to get but we’re going to have a lot of fun. These are planned webinars where the topic – we can’t answer in about seven minutes, it’s going to be a 60 to 90-minute webinar. This is our first one. This is the modifiers webinar that is very well received, comes with a great job aid. We encourage you to join us on that and we’re going to be using our new webinar software that will hopefully allow everyone to chat with each other and do that kind of community stuff that you guys love. I mean, we know you love to chat with each other and we appreciate you for that. So, come join us.
That’s a paid event. The next slide gives a little more detail, it’s $67. When you go to register, you go to the page register, and I think someone is going to put a link in the chat box for those that want to go check this out. You’re going to register here and it will take you to this page to get connected with the new webinar platform. It’s a more interactive environment.
You want to talk about this one, Alicia, HCC?
Alicia: Well, yeah. Everybody knows I love HCC.
CRC Credential – HCC Course is here! – We have 16 jam-packed modules and when you think about HCC, you want to use the term “HCC risk adjustment.” If you go look up information regarding this career path which is coding but it has its own niche. We suspected, I guess, that the credential was coming around the corner so since it’s something that I have done in the past that I absolutely love; I really, really, kept begging Laureen to let us develop something.
So, we found a subject expert, Holly Cassano, and started working up a course around HCC and risk adjustment. It’s fantastic, it’s so much fun and we’ve got a lot of other experts coming in and giving us some feedback. If this is something you even think you might be interested in, or you want more information, absolutely ask the Helpdesk about it. We love to talk to you about it.
Laureen: This was all the buzz at Healthcon. They had it in almost every session, they were talking about it. We had a lot of interest at the booth about it, so this is really a good topic. And we’re going to be having a webinar in the very near future. I believe our model of doing a free one and introducing it to more content. So, Boyd will be working hard on that with us.
Quick Lineup of CCO Courses – This slide just gives you an overview of how far we’ve come from that one CPC Blitz product to all of these courses and reviews and mock exams. You can check them all out at www.CodingCertification.org/Products.
